      Jill Matthews is our dog trainer, she is a very passionate loving human being and loves dogs! Jill is a very strong independent woman and faced some challenges in the process of becoming a dog trainer. Jill was attacked by a dog when she was younger and had over 300 hundred stiches in her face. She didn't let the dog attack get in the way of her love for dogs and decided to do something she loved which was dog training. Jill has had over 10 years of experience working in the pet industry and decided to become a dog trainer 4 years ago.

      We provide dog training which includes positive reinforcement training and teach basic behaviors which includes sit, stay, down, come, recall, and touch. We also deal with animal behavioral issues such as separation anxiety and fear. We also help with your dog not jumping, barking, biting, and resource guarding. Another service we provide is overnights at your home. This involves making sure your pet and home is well cared for. This overall will be for 12 hours or more. Last but not least we offer dog walking which is a 30 minute exercise with your fury friend. These services involve us taking photos of your pet and informing you what goes on while you're not here with your pet.

      Jill Matthews had a full year of training by Petco where she would teach classes and observe classes alongside her mentors that had years of experience. Jill Matthews and her team have also taken additional classes to further their education in dog training. Jill has been working with dogs for over 8 years and became a trainer over 3 years ago. All of the methods she has been using to train and take care of your fury friends are science based and has been proven by the learning theory and operant conditioning.

      We tend to use word commands, hand signals, dog treats and we use clicker training. We also teach a dog training class that involves using facial commands, body language, and a few holistic dog training approaches. A dog normally takes 21-30 days to learn a new behavior with consistent training.
